GLYCEROL
Glycerol (also known as glycerin) is a major byproduct in the biodiesel manufacturing process. For every 100L of Bio-Diesel produced 10L of Glycerol is manufactured. Glycerol is supplied to various industries.

J-Bay Bio-Fuels was established in September 2014. We are a family run business that specializes in the production of quality Bio-Diesel. J-Bay Bio-Fuels is situated in Jeffreys Bay, Eastern Cape. We are a Bio-Diesel manufacturer and supplier in the Jeffreys Bay, Humansdorp, Patensie, Hankey, Thornhill, St-Francis area. With more than ten years of experience in the Bio-Diesel industry, we are able to produce a product of a very high standard. We are proud to be a part of an industry that focuses on renewable environmentally friendly Bio-Diesel.
As part of our vision to be a completely GREEN company, we recycle used cooking oil for the production of Bio-Diesel. We source the oil locally from restaurants, as far as possible. The bulk of our raw materials are sourced from recycling companies nationally. We also produce soap from glycerol, a by-product of the bio-diesel manufacturing process. As a registered Bio-Diesel manufacturer / supplier we adhere to the standards and procedures laid out by government.
